Hi, my name is Jacob Damelin, and I’m a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the CRPO. Congratulations on having the courage to ask for help. I would be honoured to support you on your path towards mental health.
Before joining the world of psychotherapy, I worked in the arts. After studying jazz piano at the Berklee College of Music for my undergraduate degree, I pursued a career as a performer and music educator in Toronto.
The mental health challenges I faced and overcame as a student and professional musician inspired me to study psychology, and eventually to become a psychotherapist. It is a privilege to use what I have learned to help others overcome similar struggles, and flourish in their lives.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. I also assist individuals going through personal and professional transitions, as well as grief.
No matter what problems you are facing, I prioritize creating a space in which you can be yourself, and share what you’re experiencing without fear of judgment.
If you would like to chat to find out if we’re a good fit, please book a free phone consultation with me at the link below.
